Federal Aid
Aviator College is approved by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in Federal Title IV financial aid programs. Eligibility and award amounts are determined based on factors such as the student’s cost of attendance, Expected Family Contribution (EFC), enrollment status, and duration of attendance. To apply, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is used to assess financial aid eligibility. All information submitted through the FAFSA is kept confidential.
Direct Loans:
Loan amounts may vary annually based on the student’s academic program, dependency status, and grade level.
Federal Direct Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS):
The Direct PLUS Loan is available to the parents of dependent undergraduate students to assist with educational expenses. This loan is not based on financial need. The annual loan limit is determined by the cost of attendance, minus any other financial aid received.
Pell Grants:
The Federal Pell Grant is a need-based award with amounts varying according to the student’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC), as determined by the FAFSA. Award amounts also depend on the student’s enrollment status (e.g., full-time, half-time).
Applying for Federal Student Aid (FSA):
- To begin the financial aid process, create your FSA ID by visiting: Create FSA ID. Once your FSA ID is created, you may complete the FAFSA application here: Complete the FAFSA.
- It is the student’s responsibility to stay informed about all terms and conditions related to receiving financial aid, including requirements for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Students must understand and comply with these policies to remain eligible for aid.
